TERMS & CONDITIONS
1.1 Monica Harrington Ltd (“Monica Harrington”) offers personal lingerie styling, personal shopping services and corporate brand lingerie styling services.
1.2 Monicaharrington.co.uk is operated by Monica Harrington Ltd, 140 Arlington Rd, London, NW1 7HP: Company Registration no: 10253570.
1.3 The terms and conditions are between Monica Harrington Ltd and the client using the services of Monica Harrington Ltd. The client covenants and agrees to the terms and conditions set out herein.
Data Protection Act
2.1 By providing your details to Monica Harrington, please consent to Monica Harrington informing you via email of our latest promotions, fashion events, and the latest trends which are essential to maintaining your wardrobe. The data is collected lawfully and maintained in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1988.
2.2 Monica Harrington’s privacy promise. We take your privacy very seriously and will not pass your details to any third party without your permission, other than where we have to do so to arrange deliveries with stores and boutiques as part of our personal styling packages. Customers are normally present when we arrange delivery of goods.
2.3 From time to time Monica Harrington may send information about discounts, promotional offers and events. If you do not want this information to be sent to you please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org stating that you do not wish to be sent any Monica Harrington news.
2.4 As stated, we will never disclose information about you to any third party without first receiving your permission.
2.5 All personal client information including contact details or any other personal information given through the consultation process or at any other time thereafter will never be disclosed.
2.6 Monica Harrington has a very high profile celebrity client base and through a well established reputation built on professionalism, customer loyalty and trust, Monica Harrington intends to uphold this standard by way of respecting client confidentiality.
3.1 On making a booking, and scheduling session dates in the diary we require a non-refundable 25% deposit by cash or direct bank transfer.
3.2 As stated in the Consumer Contracts Regulations of June 2014, you have a 14 day cooling off period during which you are entitled to a refund of your 25% deposit, minus any fees, if you decide to cancel.
3.3 After 14 days the deposit for your booking is non refundable, but it is transferable once to another date, within 6 months of the original booking date if the session is cancelled 72 hours in advance of the session booked.
3.4 Please notify us immediately should you not be able to make a session, and we will do our best to rebook you for a suitable alternative date as soon possible.
4.1 Fees are subject to, and inclusive of VAT at 20%.
4.2 The fee agreed on the phone will be confirmed in writing in a 'confirmation email' within 48 hours. It is your responsibility to check the content of the 'confirmation email' and that you agree with the sessions, dates and fee quoted.
4.3 The confirmation email is our contract and receipt confirms your agreement with the session dates and fee agreed. If you have any queries or questions regarding its content, please respond within 48 hours.
4.4 Where applicable, all sessions that comprise a package must be completed within a 6 month time period from the date of the first session, except in exceptional circumstances such as illness or pregnancy.
Gift Voucher Terms
5.1 Gift Vouchers are to be paid in full at time of purchase and are valid for 6 months, except by prior arrangement or in exceptional circumstances (such as illness, injury or pregnancy)
5.2 There is a 14 day cooling off period from the date of purchasing a Gift Voucher during which you are entitled to a full refund of your payment if you decide to cancel. There is a further 48 hours from the 'giving date' (e.g. birthday or Christmas), if it is outside of this window, if the gift is deemed unwanted or unsuitable.
5.3 Unfortunately, after this time, no refunds will be given.
Personal Styling / Shopping
6.1 Monica Harrington reserves the right to revise prices and details at any time without notice.
6.2 All prices are quoted in pounds sterling. We accept payment of cash, credit card, or a direct bank transfer.
6.3 The personal stylist will then arrange a personal styling day with the client to explore their chosen package.
6.4 The client will need to settle their outstanding balance on the day of their personal styling appointment. This can be in the form of cash, credit card or electronic transfer but all monies transferred electronically will need to be transferred at least 5 working days before the client’s personal styling appointment.
6.5 On the personal styling day, Monica Harrington will initially discuss their research findings in regards to the client’s requirements. This discussion (Style Brief) with the client takes approximately 15 minutes.
6.6 In the event that the items cannot be obtained other alternatives will be discussed with the client.
6.7 Payment for goods purchased & collected by Monica Harrington on behalf of their client need to be covered/paid to Monica Harrington by their client prior to Monica Harrington purchasing goods for their client. This can be in the form of a cash payment, credit card or electronic transfer but funds will need to clear before Monica Harrington purchase any goods on behalf of their client.
6.8 Monica Harrington agrees to provide all receipts of purchases to their client as proof that Monica Harrington has purchased goods on behalf of their client.
6.9 Monica Harrington will send you a receipt of your chosen package within ten days after your personal styling day.
7.1 Monica Harrington will work to the best of her ability to deliver the best possible results for clients. However, full engagement of the client is required and we respectfully ask that you take the time to answer the style questions in the initial phone conversation agreeing the booking for the appointment.
7.2 Please make sure that you are engaged during your sessions by letting people know you are in a meeting and unable to answer the phone or emails. If there is a specific call you need to take, a break can be scheduled to accommodate it.
7.3 Monica Harrington will do her best to prepare for the styling session; however availability of specific stock is out of their control.
7.4 We understand that this is a time commitment, but when executed correctly, it is one which will pay for itself many times over.
7.5 In the unlikely event that you have a concern or complaint about the service delivered, please bring it to our attention as soon as possible during the session, or within 48 hours after the session.
7.6 Our commitment is to get the best results and give you the best service possible, and therefore it is essential that we are aware of any issue as soon as possible so we can rectify the situation and give your concerns our full attention.
7.7 To get the best results, open and honest communication is essential, and therefore it is important to bring any concerns to your stylist as soon as you have them so they can be discussed.
8.1 The deposit is non-refundable
8.2 Should it prove difficult to obtain the client’s desired items a refund will be made after deducting Monica Harrington’s fees from the final balance paid by the client on their chosen package.
8.3 Any items purchased by a Monica Harrington personal stylist for their client, within a store or boutique, can only be exchanged or refunded under the terms of the store’s or boutique’s refund/exchange policy.
9.1 Items purchased from stores by a Monica Harrington personal stylist for their client can be delivered free of charge to Monica Harrington customers who live within the M25. There is a delivery charge for Monica Harrington customers who live outside the M25. This charge is decided by the store.
9.2 Deliveries arranged through boutiques by a Monica Harrington personal stylist for their client may incur a charge. All charges will be left to the discretion of the boutique that our customer has to pay for.
10.1 You may cancel your appointment for any reason. However, Monica Harrington will need to be notified 48 hours prior to your appointment.
10.2 In the event of a cancellation, our clients will be offered an alternative date to complete their personal styling appointment. All deposits paid for Monica Harrington packages will not be refunded to the customer.
10.3 In order to cancel your appointment please contact us on +44 (0) 7976 353663 or notify us by email on email@example.com or in writing to our contact address.
Limitation of Liability
11.1 We will not be liable for any loss or damage in circumstances where:
i. deliveries have been organised by stores or boutiques
ii. a client mishandles goods or damages goods purchased
11.2 We will not be responsible for faulty or damaged goods.
11.3 We will not be responsible for the misplacement of customer goods.
12.1 Monica Harrington is covered by Professional Indemnity Insurance & Public and Products Liability Insurance through Markel.
13.1 In the event of styling appointments based across the UK other than in London, all travel costs need to be covered by the client.
13.2 All travel costs need to be paid from the client in question to Monica Harrington 72hrs before the appointment date (for UK based bookings). For bookings abroad, all travel costs need to be paid from the client in question to Monica Harrington 7days before the appointment date.
13.3 In the event of styling appointments based across the UK other than in London, all accommodation costs (if required) need to be covered by the client.
13.4 All accommodation costs need to be paid from the client in question to Monica Harrington 72hrs before the appointment date (for UK based bookings). For bookings abroad, all accommodation costs need to be paid from the client in question to Monica Harrington 7 days before the appointment date.
13.5 A 50% deposit is required to secure a UK based personal styling appointment 72hrs before the appointment date.
13.6 A 50% deposit is required to secure an international personal styling appointment 7 days before the appointment date.
